Maybe I am the odd one out.

I found the above picture a familiar scene at any fast food restaurant counter. The wife was making the orders  while the husband was sitting down and waiting comfortably, sometimes with their kids. The lady in pink was just in front of me at one fast food restaurant counter last night. The kid she was holding and me were looking at each other in consternation and I could not resist taking a photograph of them. I wonder whether they were alone or the man of the house and other children was around.

Besides them I saw a similar case in a different counter. Another woman was also queuing and the husband came to enlighten her burden by taking her handbag away. Then off he went to their table sitting down and waiting comfortably.

In my case it was always me who stood and waited in a queue when I brought my family to eat in fast food restaurants. I just could not let my wife stand there waiting in line while I was sitting down comfortably. 

Maybe I am the odd one out.
